Therapists

At Gordon Physical Therapy, all of our therapists are fully licensed and extensively trained. You will always receive therapy from a licensed therapist, and never from an aide.

Our team includes three physical therapists, one occupational therapist, and one massage therapist. Together, these therapists create a diverse and experienced team with a wide variety of specialties.

Robert Gordon, PT

Robert Gordon, PT

Physical Therapist, Owner

Robert was born in California to an Air Force family and spent most of his childhood traveling around the country and oversees. He has used these techniques with great success for many patients.

In 2007, Robert proudly asked his son Luke to join the practice. Robert enjoys having the chance to work with Luke as professionals and as partners. Robert spends most of his spare time with his wife and with their sons and their families. His primary (and favorite!) aerobic activity is chasing and being chased by his 4 grandchildren: Taylor, Ella, Julian and now Viola. Robert stays busy keeping 10 acres green and blooming, going for hikes on the Centennial Trail and Tubb’s Hill, and getting together with friends. Danielle Taylor, PTA

Robert Gutierrez, PTA

Physical Therapist Assistant

Danielle was born and raised in Orange County, California where she first began her interest in physical therapy in her early years of being an athlete, more specifically swimming. She started swimming at the age of 5 and by the age of 12 she had earned her way by traveling throughout the United States and competing at the national level. But by the age of 15, she had experienced her first personal speed bump when she injured her left shoulder that led to surgery. This was when Danielle found her second passion in life with her shoulder rehabilitation in physical therapy. After rehab, she continued with her swimming career and received a 4-year athletic scholarship at University of California, Santa Barbara, where she also majored in International Business with an emphasis of becoming bilingual in Spanish.

After finishing her Bachelor’s degree, she gained a more thorough experience in physical therapy by working as an aide for 7 years at three different orthopedic clinics, where she had the unique experience of working with many professional athletes of all sports. In addition, she worked as a head athletic medical aide for 4 summers at Matt Leinart’s Football Camp for kids of the ages 7-13, where she would treat and examine minor athletic injuries. Through the knowledge and guidance of her working as an aide, Danielle used her passion and work ethic to get into the Physical Therapy Assistant program at Loma Linda University.

In her spare time, Danielle enjoys many outdoor activities, which include: surfing, boating, skiing, hiking, and competing in various running distances and triathlons. And since moving to Spokane this past February, she is very excited to the many adventures that may come her way.
