Balance/Fall Prevention

FREE REPORT: “Learn 9 Simple Ways You Can Improve Your Balance & Prevent Another Fall!”

Learn the 9 most effective ways to improve your balance and reduce the likelihood of having another fall…whether you’ve fallen several times already or are looking to avoid your first potential fall.

Luke Gordon, DPT

A quick message from Dr. Luke Gordon, Spokane Valley’s leading PT, about improving your balance and preventing another fall:

Having a fall is no joke…

In my “Balance & Fall Prevention” workshops that I host at the clinic, I often start by talking about what I refer to as the “downward spiral” that occurs after having a fall.

While your friends and family might view your fall as an isolated incident and expect you to just get on with life as usual, you probably know that having even just one fall can be extremely life-altering.

In this downward spiral, falling leads to a reduction in your confidence as you start to experience things like fear, anxiety and even anger. This tends to lead to a decrease in your overall activity level, as you try to avoid activities that might make you feel unsteady.

A decrease in your activity level will lead to weakness and poor balance, which will ultimately make you even more likely to experience another fall.

And given enough time, you’ll start to really miss out on the activities you enjoy, like going for walks, interacting with your spouse and/or friends, and being active with your kids and grandkids. This often leads to a sense of depression and isolation, and for some may result in a loss of independence.

This may sound very doom and gloom, but it’s why I’m so passionate about helping people improve their balance and maintain their mobility and independence!

If you or someone you love has experienced a fall in the last 6 months, I’ve designed this report as a resource for you to start improving your balance right away, in the comfort of your own home.

Inside, you’ll find the 9 best tips you can start working on right away to improve your strength, mobility and balance, and I’ve also included a bonus section on how to “fall proof” your house, which will help you reduce the likelihood of falling in your home.

To gain instant access to this FREE report, either click on the link and enter your basic information or call the clinic at 509.892.5442 and someone from my office will mail you a copy.

As you read through the report, keep in mind that you can contact me directly at any point with specific questions about balance and fall prevention by calling the clinic or sending me an email to Luke@GordonPhysicalTherapy.com

Also keep in mind that while you might not be able to restore 100% of your balance overnight, there is HOPE for you!

I’ll explain in more detail in the report, but for now I want you to know that if you consistently implement the techniques and exercises inside the report, you will see improvements in your strength and balance. Depending on your age, it just takes a bit of time and hard work…

I hope this report helps you or a loved one get back on track and take control of your balance and your life…all you need to do is get started!

Sincerely,

Luke Gordon, DPT

More Happy Clients of Gordon PT

“I first came in for a discovery visit to determine cause of pain on the left hip. A week later, I pulled a muscle in the lower right back which went into spasms. Luke and Aram were both helpful and flexible in treating first the muscle spasms and then the hip pain. After a month both problems have subsided and I’m able to resume all my regular activities, including yoga, swimming, snow shoeing and skiing.”

“I came to Gordon PT for elbow tendonitis. When I started, I couldn’t lift a coffee pot or comb my hair. After working with Luke, Aram and KayLynn I have so much more strength and feel so much better. I couldn’t be happier with the progress I’ve made here. The staff is so friendly and inviting. I am always greeted with a smile and great conversation. I would highly recommend these guys to anyone looking for a fun, friendly environment for their PT needs. I am very grateful to have found them!”
